Welp, the news is smattered across the interwebs and since we were all glued to our computers for Cyber Monday, we all know the news: Philippe Coutinho is set to miss an extended amount of time with a footie, footie injury. Technically it's an ankle injury, but the double footie thingy was way too tempting to not at least attempt. The man who spells his name with one L and two P's instead of the traditional Norwegian double L and solo P has gone down and taken his 40.3% ownership, and shrinking, down with him. He will be missed as a total fantasy asset and while some of us, mostly Liverpool fans, think this is the worst thing to happen since unsliced bread, I think this is actually a swoon to everyone who is in the know and down for diversifying. The best part is that he is in the top-15 overall in price, so from the grabbing anyone you want perspective. you can grab anyone you want. Whether that be staying on the Liverpool theme and going to a Firmino or trusting that Lallana will be healthy and fantasy trustworthy. The second is that we can move into a direction of diversity and add someone who isn't so widely owned. Screw this template garbage. So breathe deep, don't make rash decisions as there are Cup games today and tomorrow, to help with some perspectives. But before they kick off, here are some tidbits of delusion from your's truly...enjoy.
